Lancaster Farming (1955-1983)

Nearly thirty years of farming news is now available through the fully-digital archive of Lancaster Farming, the leading Northeast and Mid-Atlantic farm newspaper. Working from microfilm of the weekly paper, the University Libraries' Preservation Department, in collaboration with Penn State’s Life Sciences Library, created a complete digital copy that can be searched by keyword for the years 1955 to 1983. The archive will continue to grow. Like other titles on the University Libraries’ Digital Newspapers Collections Web site, the Olive Software enables readers to see specific articles found on a search or to browse complete pages of an issue of the newspaper.
