In 1988, the Penn State Alumni Association collected tailgating recipes from Penn State alumni, famous Penn Staters, and significant Penn State personalities.  This compilation of recipes was published in limited edition as "Cookin' with the Lion."  The committee co-chairwomen were Cathy Willigerod Dove (Class of 1969) and Susan Beck Wilson (Class of 1971).  Several hundred recipes were submitted, and 275 recipes were chosen for the book under categories such as appetizers/beverages, soups/sandwiches, salads/vegetables/side dishes, entrees, eggs/dairy, breads/pasta and desserts.

The book is currently out-of-print, so a number of the more popular and famous recipes are included on this Alumni Library site for you to use with your fall tailgates.
